found in the kelp forest near ur landing site. Lubricant- Created from kelp seed clusters. Can also be made from breaking down scrap metal in the fabricator. Titanium- can be found in almost any biome and within limestone outcrops. now for the pieces you are missing this may sound strange when i list biome names, however they are usually named for their appearance. you can find the scan for the multipurpose room in this second location. this pod is an important story location as its contents lead you to another area close by. Since you have a seamoth, you should have already received the transmission and beacon from pod 19. I would have flipped my lid at having so little storage let alone not being able to craft upgrades. SCAN EVERYTHING - it isn't all broken bits on the seabed. Hint: If you have received the message that guides you to a "rendezvous", or you have discovered the PDA that gives you a strong push to go into the large cave with the weird mushrooms, then you have walked right by the fragment(s) that you need to scan for the MPR. But.you should have found the MPR blueprint before you are doing much building that deep, anyway. With all of the corner intersections swapped out over time.Ĭaution: The combo intersection is considerably weaker under pressure than the MPR, so you will probably need extra bracing / foundations initially, especially if you try to do something large below 100m. Therefore, you can lay out quite an elaborate base even before you get the MPR blueprint, and have plenty of space for early storage in any areas that you DON'T plan to swap out later. The combo can be swapped 1-for-1 MPRs after you scan a remnant for the MPR blueprint. Tip: For advanced base planning / building:Īn X-tube, with an I-tube attached at each opening, fits into exactly the same space as a Multi-Purpose Room. In other famous words, It's not about the destination, but the journey.īuild any element of the corridor, in it cabinets. I know the game can get a little slow at times, but that is actually the best part. My first playthrough took 3-months and 300 hours. You will find too many spoilers on accident and it will spoil your gaming experience and ruin the immersion of the game. Make sure to search 100+ meters around each wreck for other goodiesįor the most enjoyment of playing the game, leave the forums and don't return until you finish the game. Just know there are always multiple blueprints of everything in the game, so you can find them. So, I had no scanner the whole game! Or at least until I didn't need it anymore. By the time I reached almost the end of the game, I finally figured it out. I learned later there was a glitch with the game that it can get out of alignment and not attach. But the scanner room still wouldn't attach to it. lolĮven worse, when I had discovered the moonpool, I tried to connect the scanner room to it, as I was able to connect tube to it. So, I thought I must need some sort of control room to access the radar screens and stuff. I tries to craft the hatch onto it, but it was always red and wouldn't let me install it. To my dismay, I couldn't figure out how to get inside of it. lol I had to live out of my life pod until I discovered a room. I didn't know I could even build a tube as a base. You're doing way better than me on my first playthrough. Probably only to destroy the interior once i find the multipurpose room. I couldnt take it anymore and build a foundation with 2x X connectors. Is it really intended to find a normal room segment so late? I have now BP's from stuff i dont know where to get the materials, working seamoth, multiple upgrade BP's, half done cylops, found lifepod 13, 17, 3, sunbeam got shot down. So i waited with the base building for that part. The multipurpose room is already visible with 0/2 as BP so i thought i'll get it soon while progressing a bit. So i wanted to build a base to have more room and actually build things inside for storage. Didnt like the VERY small open water containers, so never build more than one, since you cant place it inside the rescue pod.
