Healing is where Moira truly excels, and the arrival of Overwatch 2 also introduced a tweak that reduces Moira’s capacity to self-heal with Biotic Grasp. Although Moira can do plenty of damage in her own right, players should remember that ultimately, it’s all in aid of helping her heal and support her team. ![]() Related: Overwatch 2: How to Unlock KirikoĪ good Support hero is invaluable in Overwatch 2. It’s important to note however that other players might not take kindly to this playstyle Moira is very much a Support hero and playing her as a Damage hero to get around Overwatch 2’s new 5v5 team composition which has a limit of two Damage heroes per team is arguably poor form. Moira does a considerable amount of damage with her Biotic Grasp and Biotic Orb, so ever since her launch, players have been tempted to try and play her as a Damage hero instead of as a Support. If for example, players are grouping up for a push behind an Orisa or a Reinhardt, then players should check the status of Moira’s biotic energy meter, as this determines whether they’ll start the upcoming fight by healing straight away or by trying to do some damage to refill. However, players should try and anticipate what their teammates will need ahead of time. Luckily, Moira does a lot of damage for a Support Hero and Biotic Grasp can easily eliminate low HP heroes such as Tracer or Sombra. Moira’s alliances have frequently shifted as she dedicates herself to the pursuit of knowledge at any cost, allying herself with Overwatch’s covert ops team Blackwatch and later with the great minds of the scientific collective of the city of Oasis. A brilliant geneticist who courted considerable controversy over her borderline unethical experimentation, Moira’s only concern is the advancement of humankind through the power of genetic engineering. ![]()
